£3,500.00
A very rare and highly coveted set of brooch and clip-on earrings by Charles de Temple.
Crafted from 18ct gold, these pieces showcase a modernist style characteristic of the 1960s. The design features an abstract, textured form with De Temple's signature bi-color finish, combining yellow and white gold elements.
Charles de Temple was a pioneering figure in the Modern British Jewellery movement, celebrated for his unique designs and technical mastery in handcrafting gold. Starting his career in Massachusetts, he rose to fame in 1960s London.
He was also known for his flamboyant, sculptural creations, including the iconic "goldfinger" worn by Honor Blackman at the Goldfinger premiere in 1962, and a ring made for Bond to gift the Contessa in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), which later sold at auction for over £50,000.
